In 2004, Paul Mitchell's specially designed loopknife took the farriery world by storm. In England, the knives became something of a status symbol after the world farriery champion used Mitchell's knives to defend a world title.

With it's tapered conical end the Paul Mitchell Sharpener will fit the smallest of loops to the largest. The wider dual tapered elliptical end with it's radius ground edges will allow you to obtain the perfect cutting edge on any type of knife.

The sharpener comes to you in a heavy duty PVC pouch.

It is important to keep your diamond sharpener clean and unclogged. Always use a petroleum-based liquid on the sharpener during use.

I personally do the final sharpening on all the knives we sell, and I have literally sharpened hundreds with my present sharpener and it is still in perfect condition. I keep it clean and working well by continually dipping it in kerosene while using it.
